(Crochet)
I made this cotton dress for the daughter of a friend…
Hace poco hice este vestido para la hija de una amiga…
The top is made in crochet, with light cotton yarn. The skirt is made with fabric (I have to ask another friend to help me with this part, since I don´t know how to sew. I tried to learn, but it was not my thing). The crochet top is first made with a row of granny squares, then filled with Dc and Hdc stitches. I improvised a bit, but it was inspired by the pattern @ The Green Dragonfly.
My friend love this dress, and she asked me to make two more. I hope to share them with you soon…
La parte de la blusa la hice en ganchillo, con un algodón liviano. La falda está hecha de tela de algodón (para la cual me ayudó otra amiga, ya que yo no uso la máquina de coser). La blusa en ganchillo está formada primero por una hilera de cuadros de la abuelita (granny squares), y luego formada por puntos altoa. Improvisé un poco, pero me inspiré en el patrón @ The Green Dragonfly (en inglés, con fotos que muestran el proceso).
A mi amiga le gustó mucho el vestido, y me pidió que hiciera otros dos. Espero mostrárselos pronto…
